Studio transtoracico e transesofageo di un paziente con valvola di Eustachio prominente. La valvola di Eustachio è una membrana che durante la vita embrionale indirizza il flusso di sangue verso l'atrio sinistro attraverso il forame ovale pervio, escludendo il circolo polmonare.
Nelle immagini A e B (TTE) si può osservare la membrana fluttuante all'interno dell'atrio destro, l'immagine C (TEE) rappresenta il bubble study per osservare il percorso del flusso nei settori destri mentre l'immagine D è uno studio TEE tridimensionale.

Eustachian valve is a membrane that helps blood flowing through patent foramen ovale during embryonic life, thus shunting pulmonary circulation. In A and B images (TTE) we can observe floating membrane into right atrium, image C (TEE) rappresent a bubble study to observe the flow path in the right heart, while image D is a 3D TEE study.
